A very detailled toilet-seat, in a Japanese style. The 'bird' on the kimono is repeated on top of the cover. The painting is an interpretation of a Japanese myth about the goddess of fertility, who brought life into the sea, just by looking at it.

Hand-painted on solid wood with oil-paint. The fastening-system is chromium-plated with brass. Varnished with 5 layers of glossy varnish, especially to protect the painting against urine and cleaning products. (this kind of varnish is also used for boat-exteriors)
